Against the game video-installation
Against the game. Project of video installation.
On two opposite walls the large scaled faces of chess players are projected. They play in a World Cup championship. Faces are in tense, the eyes are running around the board, the moves are calculated in mind. Between the two projections is a free space. A spectator can move between the screens as a figure on a chessboard , but in contrast to the game rules the decision, in which direction to move, is under his control. It is also possible to carry out other parallels. The movies are shown in random order and in the same “ game” can be completely different people : women , men, children, the elderly , people of different nationalities and faith can meet the unpredictable opponents.
